Abstract

THE COOLING CONDITIONS AND MICROSTRUCTURES FOR OBTAINING OPTIMUM MECHANICAL PROPERTIES WERE INVESTIGATED. VARIOUS MICROALLOYED STEELS SUCH AS NB OR TI CONTAINING STEELS WERE USED,AND STRENGTH AND TOUGHNESS WERE COMPARED WITH CONTROLLED ROLLED PLATES.
