Abstract
This study was conducted to analyze the extent to which sales growth and capital structure affect the company's financial performance, taking into account the size of the company as a control variable. The focus of this research is on manufacturing companies in the food and beverage sub-sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the period 2021 to 2023. A total of 18 companies were selected as samples with a total of 54 data observations over three years. The purposive sampling technique was used in the sample selection, while the data analysis was carried out by multiple linear regression method using the Eviews 12 application. The results show that neither sales growth nor capital structure have a significant influence on financial performance. By understanding the relationship between financial performance and corporate strategy, investors can make more informed investment decisions, and assess risk and potential rewards more accurately.
