Abstract

The objective of this research was to create a prototype of an automatic control system for a piezoelectric generator to reduce the cost of energy consumption; its development involved the use of methodological aspects based on applied research under an experimental design where power prototypes of 20 and 30 piezoelectric transducers are built, respectively, as well as a mechanical step simulation system to perform the tests. To test the hypothesis, manufactured prototypes were used, the two 16-port analog acquisition cards, and the LABVIEW 2020; and digital multimeters as measuring instruments. The tests are carried out with footsteps and an automatic system, using transducers, energy collectors, capacitors, batteries, and LED lamps. In conclusion, that piezoelectric' application for clean energy generation is an adequate alternative and meets the objectives. Moreover, for next steps, there is a requirement to use more units in a serial-parallel configuration to get enough power.
