Abstract

Analysis of the Neurospora crassa chromodomain protein CDP-2, a component of a newly characterized HP1-containing complex, reveals a second gene-silencing mechanism and provides insights into the dynamic nature of chromatin domains that possess shared components. © 2012 Nature America,inc.
