Penerapan Metode Problem Solving untuk Meningkatkan Pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam

Abstract

This research discusses the application of problem solving method in improving Islamic Religious Education learning at Iko Anata Putra Junior High School, Nagrak, Sukabumi. This research aims to identify the impact of the application of problem solving method on students' understanding of Islamic teachings. The research method used was classroom action research involving 8th grade students as subjects. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and comprehension tests. The results showed that the application of the problem solving method significantly increased students' active participation, understanding of Islamic concepts, as well as the ability to solve religion-related problems in daily life. Therefore, the application of the problem solving method can be used as an effective alternative to improve the quality of Islamic Religious Education learning at the junior high school level. Islamic Religious, Problem solving method ABSTRAK Penelitian ini membahas penerapan metode problem solving dalam meningkatkan pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam di SMP Iko Anata Putra, Nagrak, Sukabumi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dampak penerapan metode problem solving terhadap pemahaman siswa tentang ajaran agama Islam. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas dengan melibatkan siswa kelas VIII sebagai subjek. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan tes pemahaman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan metode problem solving secara signifikan meningkatkan partisipasi aktif siswa, pemahaman konsep agama Islam, serta kemampuan dalam menyelesaikan masalah-masalah terkait agama dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Oleh karena itu, penerapan metode problem solving dapat dijadikan alternatif yang efektif untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam di tingkat SMP.
