Abstract

▪ Non-insertional Achilles tendinopathy is a degenerative condition characterised by pain on activity. ▪ Eccentric stretching is the most effective treatment. ▪ Surgical treatment is reserved for recalcitrant cases. ▪ Minimally-invasive and tendinoscopic treatments are showing promising results.
