Abstract

Accessible web-based learning (E-learning) has been an research agenda for a long time, being inadequate learning material and interfaces the main responsible for that. In addition, poorer education often means lower quality of life. In this text we present an accessible learning management system (LMS) built on accessibility guidelines and a participatory design, including people with disabilities (PwD) from design to validation process. The real use of our LMS has presented good results with average range of 92% acceptance and 53% in relation to the formation of PwD and non-PwD, thus the results show that an accessible LMS may be a toward to inclusive learning.
