Abstract

An inexpensive beam profile monitor is based on the well proven rotating wire method. The monitor can display beam position and shape in real time for particle beams of most energies and beam currents up to 200μA. Beam shape, position cross-section and other parameters are displayed on a computer screen. © 2012 American Institute of Physics.
