Abstract

The first thing that comes in mind when we talk about acoustic echo cancellation is adaptive filtering. In this chapter, we discuss a large number of multichannel adaptive algorithms, both in time and frequency domains. This discussion will be developed in the context of multichannel acoustic echo cancellation where we have to identify a multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) system (e.g., room acoustic impulse responses).
