Abstract This article is a short summary of state of the art about information propagation over the Internet and the role of the users and the mainstream media over that process. This article tries to introduce the techniques and findings to analyses the information diffusion process from the point of view of Computer Scientists. Summarizing this article allows the reader to get familiar with big picture of the computer scientists about information diffusion.
