Abstract

This article shows and determines the different algorithmic methods that were applied to optimize the routes of the urban transport system at a national (Peru) and international level, due to the main factor that is the growth of demand (users) and the little response The objective of this article is to present the different approaches and scenarios from the application of algorithms such as: genetic (evolutionary, simple) dijkstra, PSO, cultural (ACs), colony of ants (ACO) and Taboo. This qualitative and quantitative analysis was carried out through the method of collecting data from different academic sources such as: Redalyc, Scopus, Scielo and the academic Google search engine. The results show us the different ways to optimize an established route and the creation of a new route in the urban transport system.
