Abstract
Continuous promotion and sustainable development of power grid construction in China has brought significant attention to the composite cross-arm owing to its unique advantages. However, few composite cross-arms are currently in operation, and further research on their interface properties is required. Thus, studying composite cross-arm interface performance is highly significant for ensuring safe power grid operation. This study summarizes the progress of composite cross-arm research, and combined with the related basis of interface evaluation, analyzes the causes of different interface types and composite cross-arm interface properties. Macro- and micro-detection methods for studying interfaces are further summarized. The applicability and validity of various detection methods are analyzed, and interface models for a composite cross-arm are presented. Finally, to provide a reference for future application and development, the prospects of composite cross-arm interface detections are analyzed.
