Arquitectura y modalidad: La construcción del poder en el mundo post-orientalizante

Abstract

Some issues, concerning the architectural sequence of the Post-Orientalizing Palatial Constructions from South-western Iberia, are reviewed and analyzed. They range from the oldest phases to the latest ones, when all these buildings were abandoned ca. 400 B.C. Reiterated analogies observed during the study allow us to connect the architectural transformations with more general historical and ideological processes which can be related with the origin, development and disappearance of the local country aristocracies at the end of the Early Iron Age.
