Abstract

In the last few years a number of systems analysis approaches and methodologies have arisen. There is confusion in the choice of using these approaches and in this paper the authors argue that methodologies are in fact different perceptions in the field of systems analysis. Each methodology is discussed and classified in terms of paradigms, conceptual models and objectives. © 1982 The British Computer Society.
