Abstract

Social Market Economy does not mean a real order, but an order of discourse. So far, during the Corona crisis German politics followed a hyper-Keynesian assumption: The state feels responsible to balance economic effects so widely that they are no longer perceptible. The costs of this politics of stabilisation are incalculable. The Corona crisis will accelerate the expansion of the welfare state and foster ecological and climate politics.
