Abstract
El presente trabajo es resultado de la investigación “Diagnóstico del uso de las tecnologías de la información y las comunicaciones en las empresas del sector de turismo de Naturaleza en el Departamento del Magdalena”, en la cual se destaca el interés creciente por las empresas del sector servicios de incrementar el uso del marketing digital para optimizar los procesos de la oferta y prestación de los servicios y el incremento de sus utilidades. Dicha ventaja se anticipa en las tendencias globales de que el 43,3 % de la población mundial tiene acceso a internet según el informe la Unión Internacional de las Telecomunicaciones y la medición de la Sociedad de la Información, en el año 2000 habían 400 millones de usuarios conectados y que además en el 2015 hubo 3.2 billones de beneficiarios de este servicio, los que indican que compañías deberán priorizar la inversión en herramientas digitales con el fin de aprovechar estas oportunidades en el sector del turismo de natural. Inicialmente se levantó el inventario de las tecnologías de la información y las comunicaciones en las empresas del clúster de turismo de naturaleza y de destaca que han incorporado equipos de última tecnología y herramientas digitales como página web y redes sociales. This work is the result of the research “Diagnosis of the use of information technology and communications in companies in the sector of nature tourism in the Department of Magdalena”, which highlights the growing interest in companies in the sector services to increase the use of digital marketing to optimize the processes of offering and providing services and increasing their profits. This advantage is anticipated in the global trends that 43.3 % of the world's population has access to the Internet according to the report of the International Telecommunication Union and the me- asurement of the Information Society, in the year 2000 there were 400 million connected users and that in 2015 there were 3.2 billion beneficiaries of this service, which indicate that companies should prioritize investment in digital tools to take advantage of these opportunities in the natural tourism sector. Initially, the inventory of information and communication technologies in the companies of the nature tourism cluster was raised and highlights that they have incorporated state-of-the-art equipment and digital tools such as web pages and social networks. Later, an analysis was made of the current situation of the use of ICTs in which it is distinguished that they rely on these online platforms to articulate with other entities in this sector to make sales, promote and publicize their services, and execute payments.
