Presensi dan Reminder menggunakan QR Code (Studi Kasus : SMA XXX)

Abstract

In the process of teaching and learning activities, students need a daily attendance process to process student attendance data that will be made as a present report which is one component of the assessment of teaching and learning process. In applying the manual attendance system conducted by students there are still shortages in terms of time efficiency in the process of recording attendance and preparing attendance reports for each class and also parents do not know whether students attend a school or not and there is poor communication between the school and parents about payment announcements or other information. In the Presence system design using the QR Code in the form of web-based and using the PHP programming language with MySQL database processing also uses the SDLC method with the Waterfall model process. This study aims to build a presence system using the QR Code as a presence media input and SMS Gateway as a medium for delivering information to students' parents and also in preparing the daily attendance reports of administrative staff students facilitated by the presence of a built presence system.
