IMPLEMENTASI HERMENEUTIKA ROMANTIK F.D.E. SCHLEIERMACHER DALAM DISKURSUS ILMU HADIS

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to examine how Schleiermacher’s hermeneutic thoughts. The research method used is a qualitative method with the type of research is library research by collecting various literatures that have a correlation with the hermeneutics of the Schleiermacher perspective. This article will begin with a biography of Schleiermacher, followed by his hermeneutical thoughts, including the art of understanding, general hermeneutics, hermeneutic circles and the last discussion is the author tries to test Schlairmacher’s theory of hermeneutics with the discourse of hadith science. And the results of the study show that, first, hermeneutics for Schleiermacher is more appropriate if it is interpreted as “the art of understanding” because it will produce intelligent subtility in understanding a text. Second, the general hermeneutics of Schleiermacher’s perspective consists of two interpretations, namely grammatical and psychological interpretations. Third, the two interpretations will form a circle if you use both of them in understanding the text. Fourth, Schleiermacher’s hermeneutics can be used as a tool to understand the hadith of the Prophet. Grammatical interpretation that focuses on the language aspect and psychological interpretation that focuses on discussing the Asbab al-Wurud of a hadith.
