Abstract

The article presents a discussion about conservatism under the presidency of Barack Obama in the U.S. Some of the possible political theories under the Obama administration are pluralism, elitism and postmodernism. It is noted that modern American politics is influenced by various factors, such as financial crises, political assassinations and October surprises.
