Abstract

The Arctic attracts the attention of many countries of the world, as it is rich in hydrocarbons. The polar people are faced with the problem of providing electricity. Traditionally, diesel generators are used in the Arctic, while electricity is costly, and the generators themselves pollute the environment. Many researchers use wind generators and solar power plants. Wind generators do not withstand severe frosts and strong winds. This study is devoted to the problem of choosing the type of solar cells that could work efficiently at low temperatures.
