Effect of LOF Dosage of Banana Peel and Guano on the Growth of Purple Eggplant (Solanum melongena L.)

Abstract

Banana peels LOF and guano are organic fertilizers used as an alternative to reduce inorganic fertilizers to increase the growth of eggplant plants. The research was done at the Faculty of Agriculture UPN "Veteran" East Java, held in May-August 2022. The study used a factorial Randomized Block Design (RBD) with 2 treatment factors. Factor 1 was the dose of POC banana skin (P) with 3 levels, namely P1: 100 ml, P2: 200 ml, P3: 300 ml and Guano (G) as the second factor with 3 levels, namely G1: 20 g, G2: 40 g, G3: 60 g, so that 9 treatment combinations were obtained. The results showed that the combination of POC doses of banana peels and guano had an interaction with the parameters of the number of flowers, 4th-period fruit diameter, and fruit set.
