Abstract

Half a century after Martin Luther King Jr declared ‘of all the forms of inequality, injustice in health is the most shocking and inhumane’, race and ethnicity remains a barrier to accessing fair, just and equitable diabetes-related care. This review will critically consider the evidence basis underlying this and discusses interventions used to eliminate such disparities. Copyright © 2021 John Wiley & Sons.
