Abstract

This study aims to analyze the environmental literacy of physics education students. Environmental literacy is defined as environmental literacy which includes knowledge, attitudes, and behaviors towards preventing and overcoming environmental problems and their relationship with social systems. Building students' environmental literacy can be done in various ways, one of which is the learning process at the university. The research employs a quantitative descriptive method, involving 40 physics education students as subjects. Data were collected using an environmental literacy instrument that measures three domains: knowledge, attitude, and behavior. The findings reveal that students scored high in the knowledge domain with a percentage of 73.22%, medium in the attitude domain with 59%, and low in the behavior domain with 38%. These results highlight the need for targeted educational strategies to improve students' environmental behaviors. The study's implications suggest that integrating environmental literacy into educational programs can foster greater environmental responsibility and action among university students.
