Abstract

Flucloxacillin 500 mg in 5 ml water was accidentally injected into a radial artery. This resulted in gangrene of parts of the thumb, index and middle fingers, necessitating amputation. Gangrenous areas requiring skin grafting also occurred on the forearm. Copyright © 1981, Wiley Blackwell. All rights reserved
