Wastewater Collection Systems

Abstract

This chapter presents a review of the literature published in 2016 on topics relating to wastewater collection systems. It presents noteworthy advances in research and industry experiences selected from major literature sources. This review is divided into the following sections: sewer system planning; sewer asset management/ condition assessment/ rehabilitation; pump stations/force mains/ system design; operations/maintenance/optimization; and regulatory issues/ integrated planning.
