Abstract

Japanese encephalitis virus (JEV) was isolated from three pools of female Culex tritaeniorhynchus mosquitoes collected at pig raising areas near Jakarta, West Java. These are believed to be the first reported arbovirus isolations from the Republic of Indonesia.
