The Research of synthesis silver silica (Ag/SiO2) composite has been carried out using the sol-gel method using various concentrations of colloidal silver nitrate (AgNO3) 0.3; 0.5; and 0.7 M into the silica sol of rice husk by thermal treatment at 110 o C and sintering at 850 o C. The purpose of this research is as a preliminary study of the formation of Ag/SiO2 composite, structure through characterization X-ray diffraction (XRD). XRD analysis showed that the number concentration of AgNO3 affect the intensity at 2θ increment. At a concentration of 0.3 M of silica structure (SiO2) produced amorphous form and the intensity of silver (Ag) is not too large, so that with the addition of 0.5 and 0.7 M concentrations of the silica peak structure intensity is visible and the peak intensity increases of the silver structure.
