Abstract

Abstrak             Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kelayakan KIT Optik berbasis sensor infrared yang telah dikembangkan berdasarkan tingkat validitas KIT tersebut yang diperuntukkan bagi  peserta didik SMA agar peserta didik dapat melakukan praktikum menggunakan KIT optik ini dan tidak kesulitan memahami materi saat pembelajaran fisika. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian pengembangan dengan menggunakan desain model Hanafin dan Peck dengan tahapan meliputi penilaian kebutuhan, tahap desain, pengembangan dan implementasi, akan tetapi pada penelitian ini dibatasi pada pengembangan KIT dan tidak sampai implementasi dalam pembelajaran, ini dikarenakan adanya pandemi covid 19 yang melanda dunia khususnya Indonesia. Validitas KIT optik berbasis sensor infrared  dinilai berdasarkan hasil validasi yang dilakukan oleh dua dosen ahli fisika, dinilai dari kalibrasi sensor dan hasil percobaan KIT. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa validasi KIT optik berbasis sensor infrared  dalam kategori sangat baik dengan persentase rata-rata 89% dan data hasil percobaan menggunakan KIT ini memperoleh rata-rata taraf ketelitian pada sensor pertama sebesar 99,57% dan pada sensor kedua memperoleh rata-rata taraf ketelian sebesar 99,69%. Sehingga KIT optik berbasis sensor infrared yang telah dikembangkan layak digunakan.   Kataikunci: KIT, sensor infrared, optik       Abstract This study aims to describe the feasibility of optical sensor based infrared KIT optics that have been developed based on the level of validity of the KIT which is intended for high school students so that students can practice using this optical KIT and have no difficulty understanding material when learning physics. This research is a type of development research using Hanafin and Peck's model design with stages including needs assessment, design stages, development and implementation, but this research is limited to KIT development and not to implementation in learning, this is due to the covid 19 pandemic that struck the world especially Indonesia. The validity of optical sensor-based optical KIT was assessed based on the results of the validation conducted by two physicists, assessed from sensor calibration and the results of the KIT experiment. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the validation of the optical sensor-based infrared KIT in the excellent category with an average percentage of 89% and the experimental data using this KIT obtain an average level of accuracy on the first sensor of 99.57% and on the second sensor obtain the average level of assessment was 99.69%. So the optical KIT based on infrared sensors that have been developed is feasible to use.       Keywords: KIT, Sensor infrared, Optical
