The relative advantages of modern cross-country technological cooperation in the context of the transition to industry 4.0

Abstract

The article investigates the study of the factors of the relative advantages of cross-country technological cooperation for the Republic of Belarus in the context of the transition to Industry 4.0 and the identification of the most promising partners for the development of the cooperation. Among these factors, the following were identified: the degree of coincidence of the political and economic interests of the countries, the socially agreed vision of this coincidence, the political will of the leaderships of the countries for long-term cooperation in the technological sphere based on mutual trust. As a result, it was found that for the Republic of Belarus, among countries with large economies, the most promising partnerships for the development of cross-country technological cooperation in the context of the transition to Industry 4.0 are partnerships with Russia and China, and among countries with small open economies - with Bulgaria, Hungary, Romania, Slovakia and the Czech Republic.
