Author Correction: HIV infection

Abstract

Correction to: Nature Reviews Disease Primers, published online 17 August 2023. In the version of the article initially published, in the section “Viral structure, viral entry and tropism”, the sentence now reading “The double-stranded viral DNA arising from cDNA and a complementary strand …” incorrectly said “strain” instead of “strand”. In the first paragraph of the section “Progression to acquired immunodeficiency syndrome”, the text now reading “(CXCR4 versus CCR5)” previously read “(CX4 versus CCR5)”. These errors have been corrected in the HTML and PDF versions of the article.
