Tratan de analizar la estructura del combate de Judo. Para ello estudia las soluciones técnicas en 125 combates masculinos y 68 femeninos del Grand Prix Rijeka 2013. Un número estadísticamente significativo de combates acaba en pie antes del fin del tiempo. En suelo las técnicas más empleadas son inmovilizaciones
