Abstract

L-Theanine is a unique amino acid almost exclusively found in the leaves of Camellia sinensis (green tea). Suntheanine is the trade name for the proprietary L-Theanine green tea leaf derivative. Scientific and clinical research has investigated the physiological and pharmacological actions of L-Theanine and has confirmed the relaxation and mood enhancement effects and other stress response parameters. © 2014 Lippincott Williams & Wilkins.
