Abstract

This research was a pre-experimental study with a one-group pretest-posttest design to assess the improvement in students' cognitive abilities through the use of Discovery Learning-based interactive E-modules with a lesson study approach in students of XI IIS 2 of SMA Negeri 9 Makassar. There were 28 students from XII IIS 2 as the research sample. Based on descriptive statistical analysis, the yield pre-test showed an average of 63, while the posttest had an average of 87. The results from the N-Gain test showed a high-quality improvement in student learning outcomes.This confirmations that the use of Discovery Learning-based e-modules through a lesson study approach is effectively used to improve the cognitive abilities of students.
