Abstract

This article presents the co-occurrence between the use of digital educational resources (DER) and the valuation of digital resources based on three discussion groups in which a total of 16 people with children in the second cycle of early childhood education in the Canary Islands participated. The codes relevant to the categories were obtained inductively, then observed by four researchers simultaneously and merged, obtaining reliability in the content analysis carried out with the aim of investigating the valuation-use relationship of Digital Educational Resources (DER). The results show a high co-occurrence between the codes of these categories, such as those obtained between the benefits of ICT use and the acceptance of technology (1.57), the benefits of ICT use with technology and traditional games (0.96), as well as the didactic use of educational ICT resources with the selection of these materials (0.68). The findings point to a bidirectional relationship with the type of use made of digital resources in different contexts, closely influencing how these technologies are introduced into educational processes.
