Abstract

The present work reviews and interprets weld bead's patterns especially on solidified weld surfaces. Defects patterns such as rippling, humping, and other unexpected surface patterns appearances have been found to be influenced by welding parameters such as welding current and travel speed. These welding defects usually accompanying with other serious deterioration such as undercut, porosity and segregation which clearly decrease the joint's strength properties. Copyright
