Wind tunnel investigations of DU97-W-300-mod equipped with riblets

Abstract

A well-known 30% thick wind turbine aerofoil was partially equipped with riblets, and lift and drag data were measured in a large acoustic wind tunnel. Drag was reduced up to 10%, and lift-to-drag ratio increased by up to 30%.
