Microfinance: State-of-the-art Paradigm for Women's Empowerment in Bihar

Abstract

This paper is a study of various aspects of women's empowerment in Bihar. A number of scholars agree that microfinance is an effective tool of women's empowerment. An attempt has been made to assess Socioeconomic impact of microfinance on empowerment of women. This paper also sheds light on the role of empowered women in their families and societies. The findings of this paper are based on secondary sources of data.
