Abstract

Health care workers contributions are remarkable and exemplary in providing careful purposive support services. They contribute to human welfare and health which has long term socio economic implications. Their services also lead to balanced growth, regional development, productivity, performance and outcomes. Indeed their health also needs to be taken care which is very essential. As they are involved in self less services for the welfare of humanity and its well being – there is a need to take care of them which assures social sustainability also. They are involved in tireless services for 24 hours across 365 days as quality and commitment continues every single day and every single minute of their life which is very demanding. Health care organizations must focus on their personal aspects and take care of them with attention and kindness which could be given back in hospital settings. Organizations need to have an inclusive holistic cultural approach which can make the health care workers comfortable as they can contribute effectively. There is a need to focus on their effective engagement in work situation which could determine life and health. As they progress in their careers their job satisfaction would be having a positive impact on social well-being also. Their psychological well-being could determine work based outcomes. This study is an exploratory in nature as it explores in to the dimensions of employee engagement, psychological well being and job satisfaction and its impact on health care workers. For this study primary data has been collected using structured questionnaire which has been administered through Google forms. Data has been analyzed with SPSS and the results show that psychological well being of health care workers has positive effects on employee engagement as it leads to job satisfaction also..
