Abstract

This paper describes movements of meanings in the categories trabalho pedagógico (pedagogical work), trabalho dos professores (teachers’ work) and trabalho docente (teaching work) in two Physical Education journals, focused on how those topics are addressed in articles published in 2008-2018. In the texts, it was found that: a) the articles do not distinguish those categories and use them as synonyms; b) “Teaching work” is used most often as a synonymous to refer to teachers’ work; c) Organization of pedagogical work is used in a broader sense than pedagogical work.
