Abstract

With the aim of contributing to current debates on the role of Muslim female spiritual caregivers, this paper aims to explore the current state of the voices of Muslim female caregivers in Islamic spiritual care, in order to contribute to a better understanding of their role. The purpose is to identify ways that enable them to collectively improve an egalitarian vision of Islamic spiritual care, and to provide the potential to strengthen in a holistic manner the commitment of the practitioners of Islamic spiritual care to the well-being of the community, and to social justice and social change.
