Abstract

This research is centered on the background provided and aims to explore effective strategies in managing OSIS in schools in order to foster strong relationships between educational institutions and the community. Specifically, the focus of his research is on student management which includes various aspects such as guidance and development, involvement of the OSIS, participation in extracurricular activities, and initiatives undertaken to improve the implementation of OSIS management at SMA Negeri 2 Muaro Jambi. This research uses qualitative research methods and adopts a qualitative descriptive research approach. The data collected includes descriptive studies, data, documentation related to student affairs and OSIS activities, as well as interview findings from several informants which are tailored to the research focus. Sources of research data from informants at SMAN 2 Muaro Jambi include OSIS Trustees, Deputy OSIS Trustees, OSIS Management Apparatus and OSIS Members. Data collection techniques can be done using interviews and documentation. Based on the results of research into the Implementation of OSIS Management at SMAN 2 Muaro Jambi, it can be said that the Implementation process has been carried out but is still not optimal. This is because there are still many weaknesses in the implementation of OSIS Management at SMAN 2 Muaro Jambi and the school's strengths and opportunities have not been optimally utilized.
