Abstract

The paper examines the relationship between educational innovation and diversity, based on historical and dialectical materialism and on the analysis of educational policy. We discuss through documentary analysis and literature review the slogan educational innovation, relating it to diversity and formulating initial reflections on special education. We demonstrate the role of the slogan educational innovation in education and special education as part of the dissemination of consensus for the maintenance of the present capitalist sociability in at least three aspects: information and communication technologies, educational management, and pedagogical practices.
