Sozialraumorientierte Schulsozialarbeit an Sekundarschulen in Baden-Württemberg

Abstract

Das Forschungsprojekt „Sozialraumorientierte Schulsozialarbeit an Sekundarschulen in Baden-Württemberg“ (SOSSA_SEK) untersucht im Auftrag des Kommunalverbands für Jugend und Soziales Baden-Württemberg Praxen, Rahmenbedingungen und Nutzen sozialraumorientierter Schulsozialarbeit an Sekundarschulen. Mit Hilfe eines multiperspektivischen Forschungsdesigns wird das professionelle Handeln von Schulsozialarbeitsfachkräften und deren Bezüge zu den Sozialräumen der Jugendlichen analysiert. Ausgangspunkt des Projekts ist die Annahme, dass eine (sozial-)räumliche Orientierung von Schulsozialarbeitsfachkräften auf das unmittelbare Umfeld der Schule nicht ausreicht, um die Aneignungsräume von Jugendlichen zu erfassen und als Teil lebensweltorientierter Arbeit in die sozialarbeiterische Praxis zu integrieren. Das Projekt zielt auf Erkenntnisse zu den Möglichkeiten und Bedingungen einer über die Schule hinausreichenden Schulsozialarbeit und deren Bezüge zu außerschulischen Akteuren entsprechend den Sozialräumen der Jugendlichen.The research project “Community-oriented school social work at secondary schools in Baden-Württemberg” (SOSSA_SEK), commissioned by the Kommunalverband für Jugend und Soziales Baden-Württemberg, examines the practices, conditions and benefits of community-oriented school social work at secondary schools. With the help of a multi-perspective research design combining quantitative and qualitative methods, the professional actions of school social workers and their relation to the social spaces of young people will be analyzed. The starting point of the project is the assumption that a (socio-)spatial orientation of school social workers towards the immediate environment of the school is not sufficient to capture the appropriation spaces of young people and to integrate them into social work practice as part of lifeworld-oriented work. The project focuses on insights into the possibilities and conditions of school social work extending beyond school and how it relates to out-of-school actors in accordance with the social spaces of young people.
