Abstract

Education plays a vital role in preparing the youth generation for a future of complex challenges on energy problems. In addition, the increase in the use of fossil fuels and the environmental impacts it causes make many people think about using renewable energy. Therefore, renewable energy education is needed to improve the knowledge and awareness of the youth generation. The Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics (STEAM) approach offers a learning model that integrates all aspects of life in one learning material. Therefore, this research focused on improving students' knowledge of renewable energy using the STEAM approach. This study indicates that the application of STEAM in renewable energy education can increase students' knowledge.
