Abstract

Space operations is currently facing novel challenges by missions that are becoming strongly dependent to on-board autonomy, such as the deep space missions. The big constellation mission will bring a higher degree of complexity in operations. Smarter small satellites missions and further manned space exploration push operations concepts to be revised. New concepts have to be prepared quickly to prepare the future demonstrators for Moon outpost missions such as the ESA Moon Village.
