This work analyzes the protest marches during 2011 under the Chilean student movement. The assumption is that the actions of physical and symbolic appropriation of the street developed in this context, allowed the emergence of politics in post-dictatorship Chile. The struggle for the «public» character of the space and the democratization of the field of vision was made possible through the centrality of expressive resources, the outpouring of energies, and the performative diversity along with the disruptive character of these actions. The motivations for the politically deprived youth, then, were the exposition of their arguments as well as thinking the future.
