Abstract

The performance of binary copolymer comprising bisphenol A dicyanate ester resin(BADCy) and novolac cyanate eater resin(PT30) is studied in this paper. The thermal, mechanical, dielectric properties and moisture performance immersed in water at 100°C were inspected. The results show that PT30 contributes evidently on the thermal property of cured resin blends. The cured resin with a mass ratio of PT30:BADCy=1:9 shows excellent performance that the glass transition temperature is 318°C, the flexure strength is 136 MPa , dielectric constant and dissipation factor are 2.83 and 0.008 and the moisture absorption processed in 100°C is 1.22%.
