Abstract

The present paper considers a mathematical model of the process of volumetric induction heating of cylindrical pieces in a cylindrical inductor. The model is based on a machine for volumetric induction heating of R-ITO-630/1-A-L type with a SMK UB 2F2 power source. The inductor equivalent parameters have been calculated. To verify the results obtained from the model, a 2D model has been built in Comsol Multiphysics.
