Abstract

The development of technology in daily life continues to show its effects on the behavior of human beings. Their integration in the field of education is an asset to the effectiveness of learning for both the teacher and the learner. However, some people tend to confuse instructional technics with educational technologies, while these concepts are different and have their roles in the pro-cess of learning. This paper first defines the three concepts in education namely instructional technics, educational technologies and learning theories, and highlights their characteristics. It also introduces the influence of educational technologies in instructional techniques, their advan-tages and inconvenience and ends with suggestions to improve them to be more suitable and profi-table.
