You made it! You read about the drawbacks of plan-driven development, also known as the “waterfall” development method. With plan-driven development, we were not providing value to our customers or being transparent with our customers about what we were doing and what they needed. We needed to improve our way of developing software. We needed to get away from 400-page design documents as the solution to a problem. We needed to put our customer back into the forefront of our efforts.
